South Corinth Elementary reading project

From Kim Jobe of the Corinth School District:

The 6th graders at South Corinth Elementary School worked on a reading project in high hopes it would encourage others in the community to read more. The students picked their favorite book and wrote a summary of it. They took their summaries and put them on brown paper bags furnished by Roger’s
Supermarket. Along with the summary, they also added artwork to express what they had written. After one week of writing, summarizing, proofreading, and drawing, our students turned in their Brown Paper Bag Project for their final grade of the semester in reading class. The bags were taken back to Roger’s where they
were used to sack groceries in them for Christmas.
