Ginny,
I just found this old post from last year about our School Archive Project. In the past year we have verified that 10th grade enrollments are up over 10% in the two highschools receiving the large majority of our middle school graduates. It shows that the project is working! Look at the reports at www.studentmotivation.org. I welcome a critical reading.

I believe that Dr. Mccoy is using his gifts that God has given him. As an educator, I also beleive that all children are "gifted" in some area. Many times, however, these gifts are not always recognized. I also agree with Dr. McCoy that all students should be given "HOPE"

Hi! I just stumbled across this blog via a link from the Daily Journal Biz Blog. I'm so glad to have found it! A HUGE congratulations to the THS theater troupe!!

I graduated from THS and took drama under Ms. Gibbs. I remember going to the International Thespian Festival (not as a mainstage performance!). It was such a fantastic time. Break a leg, guys!

Best,

You did a great job at the "Meet the Media" meeting for the PR Association of Mississippi - Tupelo chapter. It's always helpful for PR types to see that journalists are actually regular folks trying to perform a sometimes-difficult job.

These are great! I, too, am shocked that first graders actually did this work. I love that Cheryl Eber is one of the teachers of these students as she has been an important part of my life since well before I was a first-grader.

My daughter Jessica and I went on the trip to the Georgia Aguarium. It was the most awesome experience! It was very educational but also alot of fun. The leader for our group made sure that we all learned about the whales, sharks and other fish but also had lots of fun. The best part of the visit was the "after hours" tour which allowed the students hands-on experiences with the fish. Thank You to Leigh Akins for providing the opportunity for this wonderful trip.

My daughter Karley went on this trip and had the most wonderful experience. Karley is still talking about the trip! It was a wonderful as well as a great educational experience for all of the children. The children got to do alot of hands on, which they will always remember. Karley really liked getting to sleep in the tunnel, while the fish swam above them. I would like to Thank Mrs. Akins for making this trip possible for them.
